Iím a nationally certified and licensed massage therapist here in Huntington Beach. Iíve been practicing massage since 1998. Prior to that, I spent over ten years in more traditional medical surroundings -- two years on an ambulance, two years in emergency rooms and the next eight years working as an Orthopedic Physicians Assistant with an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in sports medicine. After assisting in thousands of operations, I have seen first hand how the muscles respond to different experiences. This has given me a keen sense of what makes the muscles contract and relax, as well as what causes fatigue and break down. I have created massage techniques based in part upon my experiences in surgery.

Iím also very interested in the connection of mind, body and spirit, and how emotions and perceived stress affect the function of the body. I add this energy to all of my bodywork. I continue to attend classes and courses that promote this concept.

Worry, Hate, and Fear -- Together with their offshoots: Anxiety ... Bitterness ... Impatience ... Unkindness ... Judgementalness ... Condemnation ... and Resentments -- all attack the body at the cellular level. It is impossible to have a healthy body under these conditions. It is very difficult to reverse the effects of negative thinking once they have taken physical form. Not impossible -- but very difficult. It takes an act of extreme faith. It requires an extraordinary belief in the positive force of the universe -- whether you call that God, your higher power or whatever. If you do not have the willingness to deal with these issues, there is nothing that I can do to help facilitate any true healing ...
